OEM and private label
Most of what we make leaves here under somebody else's name. If you are a distributor, a repair shop or a clinic brand, this is how you get instruments with your logo on them without owning a factory.
What we can put on an instrument
- Your logo — tell us the artwork and we will confirm what we can apply and how
- Your part number instead of ours — your catalogue codes, not codes your customer can trace back to us
- Size, pattern or batch references wherever you want them on the instrument
- Your packaging — printed pouches, boxes, inserts, barcodes and labels
We do not mark our own name on private-label work. Your customer sees your brand and nothing else.
Changing the pattern
Because forging, milling, heat treatment and finishing all happen in one building, a dimension change is a bench conversation rather than a project. Send a drawing, a photograph, a competitor's catalogue page, or the physical instrument you want matched, and we will make a sample. There is no tooling charge for a pattern variation on an instrument we already make.
Quantities
The minimum on each product page is where the volume price starts, not a wall. Realistically:
- 1 piece — sample, to check the steel and finish
- 10–50 pieces — a first order with your marking on it; this is where most new customers start
- 250+ pieces — proper volume pricing, printed packaging becomes worth it
How a first private-label order usually goes
- 1. You send the list of instruments and your logo artwork
- 2. We quote — unit price, marking cost, packaging, lead time and freight
- 3. We make one marked sample and photograph it; you approve or correct it
- 4. Production, inspection, and photographs before dispatch
- 5. Door to door shipping, DDP if you want the duties and paperwork handled
From approved sample to delivered goods is typically four to six weeks on a first order.
What we will not do
We will not copy another manufacturer's brand, wordmark or trade dress onto an instrument. Your own brand, your own part numbers and generic patterns are all fine — someone else's identity is not.
Common questions
Can you put my logo on the instruments?
Yes, with your part numbers and your packaging, and we do not add our own name to private-label work. Send the artwork and we will confirm exactly what we can apply to that item before you order.
Is there a tooling charge to change a pattern?
No, not for a variation on an instrument we already make. Send a drawing, a photo or the instrument itself and we will make a sample.
What is the minimum order for private label?
One piece for a marked sample. Most first orders with branding are 10 to 50 pieces. Proper volume pricing starts around 250.
How long does a first private-label order take?
Typically four to six weeks from approved sample to delivered goods, depending on quantity and marking.
Ask us something specific
Send a part number, a photo, a drawing or a competitor's catalogue page. We will tell you straight whether we can make it, what it costs and how long it takes.
