About this instrument

We manufacture Halsted Mosquito Forceps 12.5cm Straight Curved Stainless Steel Hemostatic for general and specialty operating theatre use — made from bar stock to finished instrument in house. Instruments of this type occlude a vessel or duct, or hold tissue and drapes securely in place. From the pattern: a curved working end for reach around structures, and a straight working end for direct, in-line access.

The 12.5cm size shown is our standard; other sizes in the same pattern are made to order. Forging, milling, heat treatment, hand finishing and passivation all happen under one roof, which is why we can change a dimension or a finish without a tooling charge. Listed at $1.50, falling to $1.20 at 10 pieces — about 20% off the single-unit price.
