12cm TC Mayo Hegar Needle Holder — one of 4,770 instruments we manufacture ourselves rather than buy in. Instruments of this type grip a suture needle firmly through the full arc of a stitch. The name tells you what you are getting: tungsten carbide inserts for a longer cutting life.
The 12cm size shown is our standard; other sizes in the same pattern are made to order. The steel is heat treated and passivated for corrosion resistance, then each instrument is checked by hand for jaw meet, smooth action and finish. We state the grade we used on your quotation.
