About this instrument
We manufacture 14cm TC Olsen Hegar Surgical Needle Holder for general and specialty operating theatre use — made from bar stock to finished instrument in house. Instruments of this type grip a suture needle firmly through the full arc of a stitch. The name tells you what you are getting: tungsten carbide inserts for a longer cutting life.
The 14cm size shown is our standard; other sizes in the same pattern are made to order. The steel is heat treated and passivated for corrosion resistance, then each instrument is checked by hand for jaw meet, smooth action and finish. We state the grade we used on your quotation.
